Privacy Policy — 24h Life Log

24h Life Log (“the App”) is a personal audio journal that can record continuously on your device. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.

1. Data we process

• Audio recordings. Microphone audio is captured to create your life log. By default recordings stay on your device (free plan: kept about 7 days). If you subscribe to Pro and sign in, encrypted uploads may be stored in our cloud (Cloudflare R2) for about 90 days.
• Account information. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an identifier and (when provided) email / display name to authenticate cloud backups.
• Purchase status. Subscription status is verified via the app stores and RevenueCat so Pro features unlock correctly.
• Advertising (free tier only). When ads are enabled with production AdMob IDs, Google may process advertising identifiers and approximate device data to show banners. Pro removes ads.
• Diagnostics. Basic device / crash signals may be processed by the OS or store SDKs to keep the App working.

2. How we use data

• Provide continuous journaling, local playback, and optional Pro cloud backup.
• Authenticate Pro sync and manage retention.
• Show free-tier ads only when configured with production ad units.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your audio. Processors that may handle data on our behalf: Cloudflare (API + storage), RevenueCat / Google Play / Apple (purchases), and Google AdMob (ads when enabled). We do not share your recordings with other users.

4. Permissions

The App requests microphone access for journaling, notification permission for the ongoing recording indicator, and network access for Pro sync / ads. Continuous recording uses a microphone foreground service with a persistent notification while active.

5. Retention & deletion

Local free recordings expire after about 7 days. Pro cloud audio is retained about 90 days unless you delete it earlier. Sign-out stops further uploads; contact support to request account / cloud deletion.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your country). Do not use it to record others without required consent under local law.
